Les comparto un par de títulos de peliculas zombies que me he encontrado surfeando la red, a espera de su siempre atenta y oportuna retroalimentación.
(Favor de abstenerse a mencionar los títulos del manual: ej. todas las de George A. Romero, Zombieland, Shaun of the Dead... etc.)


BIO ZOMBIE

This movie takes place in a mall where two young men and other people work. They do not seem to get along very well due to a lack of customers. One night the two young men give an apparently dying businessman a soft drink, which is in actuality an experimental Iraqi biological weapon that turns him into a flesh-eating zombie. Returning to the mall, the man escapes and begins infecting the population, forcing a small group of misfits to band together in order to survive.







INFESTATION


Cooper se despierta desorientado en su oficina, se siente débil, tiene náuseas, y está rodeado de una especie de telaraña. El mundo ha sido tomado por una especie de insectos gigantes de otro mundo. Cooper se une a un grupo de supervivientes -Entre los que se encuentra la atractiva Sarah- para hacer frente a los monstruos. Aunque la situación es desesperada, nuestro héroe no puede dejar de dedicarse a su nuevo problema sentimental mientras lucha por salvar la vida.

Poultrygeits (la noche de los pollos muertos)

en un viejo cementerio indio se edifica un restaurante de pollo frito, los pollos que son ocupados para la comida reciben una maldicion y empiezan a revivir en forma de pollos zombies.

En realidad ademas de ser una pelicula de zombies, es una pelicula que aborda diversas problematicas sociales de una manera bastante graciosa y probablemente por eso pierda la escencia de una pelicula de terror y caer en lo absurdo, pero aun asi es buenisima, digo, para hacer peliculas de zombies hay que ver los argumentos y las historias como ensayos o cronicas de la condicion humanay esta pelicula cumple su cometido.

JUAN OF THE DEAD

Juan is 40 years old, most of which he spent in Cuba doing absolutely nothing. Juan's only emotional tie is his daughter, Camila, a beautiful young girl that doesn't want anything to do with her father because the only thing he's good at is getting into trouble. Suddenly some strange things start to happen, people are turning violent attacking one to the other. Juan was first convinced it's just another stage of the Revolution. Little by little Juan and his friends start to realize that the attackers are not normal human beings and that killing them is quite a difficult task. They're not vampires, they're not possesed, but they're definitely not dissidents; a simple bite turns the victim into other violent killing machine and the only way to beat them is destroying their brains. Juan decides that the best way of facing the situation is making some money out of it.
